Tough Demons
Pinky Demon
The Pinky Demon is quite a tough mechanical creature which charges at you and then attempts to tear you apart. The Pinky is difficult to outrun and once it is upon you, it is very difficult to fend off. Thus it is important to gun down these beasts before they get a chance to come too close.

Spectre
This version of the Pinky Demon is translucent, but otherwise has all of the same attributes as the standard Pinky Demon. It is particularly hard to spot in poorly-lit areas, so listen out carefully for the characteristic Pinky growl sound.

Nightmare Pinky Demon
You don't want to mess with these beasts- they are stronger than the standard Pinky Demons and they also charge at you more quickly. If one of these appears (and they are easier to spot than the Spectres due to the characteristic orange outlines) then quickly open fire while dashing back for cover.

Revenant
Revenants are tough skeletons which fire homing missiles at you, and these deal a significant amount of damage, so it is important to take down Revenants quickly when you spot them. They are moderately strong, but if you have one of the higher-powered weapons at hand, then they can be disposed of fairly quickly, especially as they don't move very fast.

Arch-Vile
Arch-Viles are among the toughest of the non-boss demons in Enemy Mountain. They are extremely tough to kill and they fire repeated bursts of flames, which can cause considerable amounts of damage in small amounts of time, so strafe-running is absolutely essential when tackling these foes.

Hell Knight
Hell Knights rank among the toughest non-bosses in Enemy Mountain, though they have cousins that are even tougher (see below). They have very dangerous attacks with their claws and they fire powerful green energy balls. Make sure you have plenty of weaponry at hand when taking on one of these.

Baron of Hell
Tougher to kill and stronger than the Hell Knight, but a bit slower and more cumbersome, the Baron of Hell fires powerful orange energy balls.

Super Hell Knight
The Super Hell Knight is even trickier to face and is slightly stronger even than the Baron of Hell. This beast fires multiple red energy balls at you, which explode immediately on impact with living creatures, but otherwise hang around for a short while before exploding. The Super Hellknight is, however, slower-moving than either the Hell Knight or the Baron of Hell, so keeping a fair amount of distance can be an effective tactic.

Shock Hell Knight
The dreaded Shock Hell Knight is rarely encountered but is the most fearsome of the Hell Knights in Enemy Mountain. About as tough and strong as the Super Hell Knight, the Shock Hell Knight is also faster-moving and fires multiple electric balls at you. You need to have plenty of health and armour and weaponry at hand to face off one of these successfully.

Mancubus
The Mancubus is a very strong and powerful foe which has fireball launchers that launch repeated fireballs at you and can reduce your health very quickly if you don't keep dodging the fireballs. The Mancubus's main weakness is that it is very slow.

Slime Mancubus
The Slime Mancubus is similar to the standard Mancubus except that it fires bouncing balls of toxic green slime, which explode on impact with living creatures, and otherwise hang around for a while before exploding, meaning that it is easy to be caught out after having dodged one of them.
