Standard Demons
Maggot
Maggots are weak but irritating creepy crawlies that crawl along the floor and then attempt to tear you apart with their claws. They are not very strong and can be downed with a couple of shotgun blasts quite easily.

Wraith
Wraiths are similar to maggots but are a little stronger, and also have the ability to teleport, which can make keeping track of them rather tricky, and can lead to more expensive use of ammo when attempting to shoot them while they are busy teleporting.

Trite
Trites are jumping spiders which cause damage by jumping against you, or by biting you from close range. When you kill them, they explode and the explosion can cause splash damage. However, they are weak and a couple of well-placed pistol shots will usually finish them off.

Tick
Ticks are similar to trites, except that they can jump longer distances, and they do not explode upon death, making them a little less deadly when close up.

Imp
The standard Imp launches fireballs and can also attack by leaping and jumping at you and by attempting to tear you apart using its claws. The Imp is a relatively weak foe and can be downed with a couple of well-placed shotgun blasts. Some Imps are "crawlers", i.e. instead of walking around, they crawl relatively quickly around the floor.

Hell Imp
The Hell Imp is a more fearsome foe, as it is slightly stronger than the standard Imp and also has a secondary attack mode where it can summon reddish fireballs, which do rather more damage than the normal fireballs.

Impling
Not all of Enemy Mountain's different breeds of imp are more powerful than the standard Imp. While the Impling is more nimble, it is weaker than the Imp and fires slightly less powerful fireballs.

Implord
The Implord is stronger and more nimble than the standard Imp, but like the Impling, it fires weaker fireballs.

Nightmare Imp
The Nightmare Imp is translucent and is difficult to spot in poorly-lit areas, so take care when wandering around in the dark. The Nightmare Imp is about as powerful, in terms of health and weaponry, as the normal Imp.

Shock Imp
These are the toughest imps that you will face in Enemy Mountain. They are tougher than both the standard and Hell Imps and they summon electric bolts which home on their target, and can also fire multiple projectiles at once. Shock Imps can also access the secondary attack that Hell Imps can, with damaging red fireballs. Be very careful if you come up against one of these- they are not your standard imps!

Stone Imp
Keep your distance from Stone Imps, which are distinguishable from standard Imps by the fact that they do not throw projectiles at you. They are tough to kill and they creep up slowly and then try to tear you apart with their stone claws, which deal significantly more damage than standard Imp claws.
