Flying Monsters
Dead Soul
The Dead Soul will come charging at you and scare the living daylights out of you, eating into your reserves of health and armour. However, the Dead Soul is very weak and can be picked off easily with one or two pistol shots. Using the rocket launcher against these things is not recommended!

Lost Soul
This relative of the Dead Soul is much the same, and charges at you and takes away health and armour by scaring you. The Lost Soul can be downed by one or two pistol blasts.

Cacodemon
The standard Cacodemon looks more fearsome than it really is. The Cacodemon flies around quite slowly and spits out yellow energy balls which cause a fair amount of damdage, and also has a powerful bite. However, the Cacodemon is quite slow and, while fairly tough, can be taken down quite quickly with mid to high-range weaponry.

Doom Cacodemon
The Doom Cacodemon is a tougher beast which fires purple, red and yellow energy balls, and these cause more damage than the standard yellow balls. The Doom Cacodemon is also over 50% tougher than the standard Cacodemon and it requires a fair amount of mid to high-range weaponry to take one of these beasts down. However, the Doom Cacodemon floats around rather slowly and is thus quite an easy target.

Slime Cacodemon
Found mainly in areas with nukage and swamps, the Slime Cacodemon is slightly tougher than the Doom Cacodemon, and fires poisonous clouds of nukage. However, these nukage clouds are slow-moving and are easily dodged, though be sure not to get trapped in a confined area with one of these monsters.

Pain Elemental
While Pain Elementals have a reputation for spitting out Lost Souls, the Pain Elementals on Enemy Mountain rather spit out homing skulls which deal damage by hurting the player, but explode on contact rather than continuing to roam freely as per Lost Souls. Pain Elementals take only slightly more damage than the standard Cacodemon, but can be difficult to make direct hits with due to the frequency at which they spit out skulls. They are also armed with horns.

Black Cacodemon
Rather than spitting energy balls at you, the Black Cacodemon will cause considerable damage by charging straight at you, in the manner of Lost Souls, and at a faster pace, making the Black Cacodemon tricky to keep in your line of sight and a more dangerous foe generally. The Black Cacodemon is slightly tougher than the standard Cacodemon but not as tough as the Doom and Slime Cacodemons.

Nightmare Cacodemon
The Nightmare Cacodemon is one of the scariest and most dangerous monsters in Enemy Mountain. Translucent, and faster-moving than other Cacodemons, the Nightmare Cacodemon spits out multiple purple, red and yellow energy balls at once, and is also tougher than other Cacodemons, so be prepared for a tough battle when encountering one of these.

Guardian Seeker
Guardian Seekers are very slow-moving and are also weak- usually a couple of shotgun blasts are enough to take down one of these. However, Seekers fire very powerful energy bolts that can wipe out a lot of your health in just one hit, so be careful to dodge their shots.
